How to re-develop a site in Premium while keeping the old site up.

    I am a student studying Web Developing at the University of Oregon. I do a lot of freelance work developing sites for clients however a client has a current site with WordPress Premium. The client needs me to develop a brand new site that will eventually use the same domain but wants her current site up and running.

    What is the best solution to solve this problem?

    Do I have to make a new WordPress account and repay for the premium?

    What features of Premium is she using? If she’s using Custom Design you are going to need the Custom Design upgrade on the new site you are developing. Then when it’s ready, you can move the rest of the upgrades and domain name over.
