How to remove courtesy wordpress.com redirect message to new wordpress.org site?

    Hello,

My client used to have a wordpress.com site and now she has a wordpress.org site. She would like to remove the page that appears now when you open ‘karenwrinkle.wordpress.com’, which kindly redirects the visitor to her new site karenwrinkle.com. How can we remove this courtest page completely?

    Thank you,

    Karen S and Karen W

Hopefully your client has kept her log in details for https://karenwrinkle.wordpress.com/ and can do that herself. Staff won’t tamper with a live existing site. That site does contain a “click here” link to the other site so I’d be inclined to leave it alone. She could always set the WordPress.com site to private if you think it might upset Google searches. I wouldn’t delete it as that will leave a placeholder “the authors have deleted this site” on the Interweb forever.
