How to remove dates from post URLs on WordPress Premium?
-
Hi,
I am currently using the WordPress Premium plan for my blog, and I noticed that the URLs of my blog posts automatically include the publication date (e.g.,https://stop-calvitie.fr/2025/01/11/fenugrec-pour-les-cheveux-anti-chute/). I would like to modify the permalink structure to remove the date, so the URL would look like this instead:https://stop-calvitie.fr/fenugrec-pour-les-cheveux-anti-chute/.I looked for options in the Settings > Permalinks section, but I couldn’t find the option to customize the structure. Is this feature available in the Premium plan? If not, what are my options to achieve this?
Thank you in advance for your assistance!
Best regards,
Paul

Hello
This feature is available on sites with the WordPress.com Business and Commerce plans, and the legacy Pro plan.
For sites on the Free, Personal, and Premium plans, upgrade your plan to access this feature.

Hi, thanks for clarifying. It’s disappointing that such a basic feature is locked behind higher-tier plans. I’ll stick with Premium for now but hope WordPress.com reconsiders in the future.
Best,
