How to remove page

Morning,
I have created a website, however when going on to the website, I go to a page where posts can be done etc. I want to remove this and the very first page I want the clients to see needs to be my home page.
How do I change this and delete the first page?

You can delete a page by going to My Site > Site > Pages and finding the one you want to delete. Select the ‘More’ menu (the three dots); one of the options is to ‘Bin’.
You can then permanently delete it by going to the Binned section of Pages, selecting the ‘More’ menu and selecting ‘Delete’. You can also restore deleted pages here if you change your mind.

This means that that page will be the page visitors will see first. Alternatively you can do this in the customiser by going to My Site > Design > Customise > Homepage Settings and selecting the page you want to be your homepage under the menu.

Many thanks, but as when I go to my pages, I do not pick up the one I want to delete?
Where else can I look for the first page to delete?
PS: where do I find my site, as located the pages on the left hand menu bar?

Do you mean you can’t see the page you want to delete? It may be in Drafts. If you can’t find it in Drafts, it might be an issue with the browser you’re using; try other browsers and if the problem persists, tell us which site you’re working on and which browsers you’ve tried. It may help us work out what the issue is and how to fix it.
where do I find my site
You can find your site by going to My Site(s) (in the top left-hand corner). If you have more than one site there will be an option at the top of the sidebar to ‘Switch Site’. Are you not seeing this option? Again, if this is the case, it may be a problem with the browser you are using. If the problem keeps occurring after trying different browsers, please describe the problem to us and we’ll try to resolve it.
Also make sure you’re logged in to the correct account (occasionally pages go ‘missing’ when people have logged in to a different account to the one they made the website with).
