How to remove something from unused wordpress website

  Hello, it seems I cannot contact wordpress about someone else’s website so I ask my question here, hoping that someone knows what to do.

  My husband married 10 years ago with his ex, and an article about his wedding has appeared on a wordpress website with a lot of pictures. The marriage was shortlived so he divorced soon after. He never approved of this article, but couldnt convince the site’s owner to take it down.

  Now the owner died last year and nothing has been posted on the website since 2018. Of course we would like to take down that article. If the owner of a wordpress website is dead, is there anyone my husband can contact to take the article down?

  Would love to hear if anyone knows more about what to do. I couldnt find how to contact wordpress, apart from when I am logged in in my own account. There doesnt seem to be another way of reaching wordpress.

  Please visit the site and in the lower right corner is a floating button. If you click you will see there is the option to report the site.

  

  This will send a message directly to our Trust and Safety team, and from there they will take a closer look at the site, thanks!
