How to remove the .wordpress.com site

    Hi Team –
    I am wanting to remove the .wordpress.com free site. I have my domain registered via wordpress, but I went with a different hosting company (HostGator). I have updated my ns records, but it seems like whenever I try to go to my root website when I have it live, it redirects immediately to the .wordpress.com website instead of my domain. When I try to manage the domains on WordPress, it shows the .wordpress.com site is primary domain, but the option list on my domain does not allow me to specify that as the primary domain. How can I keep the domain with WordPress but use a different hosting company?

    Take in count it can take up to 72 hours to propagate DNS-settings. Also clear your browser DNS-cache.
