How to restore a database file?

    I have migrated my WordPress site from one server to another, but forgot to copy the database file, so, I thought that my site is lost, but when I go to the sites that show other sites the way they looked before I see my “lost” site with its full functionality, not just some screenshots, it definitely looks like that lost database file is somewhere out there.
    How were they able to recover my lost database file? And how can I do it, too? So, I’ll be able to restore my site.
