how to search on blogger names and blog titles?

  is the only function of search – tags and comments?
  Can I search on blogger names and blog titles?
  I have a blogger’s name and page name – but can’t find them directly – only references to them.

  WordPress would be more powerful in connecting readers if the search engine was more comprehensive, IMHO

  Yes, at this time it only search through tags and comments.

  You would need to use a search engine like http://google.com/ to find folks by name or title.

  but disappointing to hear that I have to leave WP to search WP – a good search tool seems to be a basic function for any site
