How to set up a website on WordPress that is hosted elsewhere?

  I am paying for hosting and registered a domain name through media serve and now I need to set my site up on WordPress. How do I do this?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Hello there,

  If you’re using a domain and hosting from another provider, you’d be looking to install WordPress onto their servers, after obtaining the software from WordPress.org.

  Alternatively, you could look to host the site with WordPress.com directly. Would this be something of interest?
