How to share posts by email

I am returning to my blog after a 6 year hiatus and have forgotten how to use it! For starters, I’d like to be able to share my old blogs via email with a friend. How do I do that? And how do I include new people who are connected and get notified of a new post? HELP!

Hi there,
To share posts via email you can add an email button to the sharing buttons on your site. Go to My Site ->Sharing ->Sharing buttons to do that:
You can invite new people to follow your site by entering their email addresses at My Site ->People ->Add and selecting the Follower role. But they will have to accept the invitation before they’ll receive any notifications. We also limit invitations to ten at a time to prevent abuse of the feature.
