how to shortern blog entries with link to full blog

  hi ive made 2 blog posts and it just showed both of them one after the other on my home page, I wanted to get it where it only shows a snipped of the blog with the link so in the future when I have many blog posts readers don’t have to scroll past everey blog to get to the one they want if you know what I mean?

  Hi there,

  It looks like you’ve since found the Excerpt option under Content Options in the Customizer.

  Just note you can also control this on a post by post basis by using the More-tag in your posts:
