How to start over

    I wanted to start a wordpress blog and opened an account in 2015, a time when I clearly did not know what I was thinking. I need to start fresh with a webpage designed to promote my artwork. I dislike my username and the domain names that appear on this account. How do I begin again? I have a very tech savvy friend assisting me tomorrow to build a new page and I will be mortified for him to see the lame name changes I had previously used in my failed 1st attempt.     Hi there,

    You can change your blog address/name by going to My Blogs, and clicking the Change Blog Address link that appears when you hover over the address you want to change:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/

    Note that you have the option to choose your user name to match the new blog address. If you choose this option, you will not be able to revert back to the original username, and it can affect profile URLs for other services such as Gravatar or IntenseDebate.

    If you are looking to delete your site content, support page can assist you in this process.

    If you have tons of content on your blog, we can do it for you, but you can accomplish clearing your site fairly easily with bulk actions whenever you’re ready.

    Are you wanting your theme reverted to its original layout as well? If so, I can go ahead and empty the site and reset the theme for you.

    Hello again,

    That was indeed very helpful. I had mainly wanted to change the user name and also delete the other old Blogger Name/address that was listed there under my sites. Thank you so much for the time and prompt response.
