How to stop copyright infringements of a wordpress.com user?

    A (subdomain).wordpress.com website put a full video of a song of a friend of mine on that page, and does not react on requests to stop and cancel that.
    On top it is a website distributing ‘extreme political positions’ (a German website owner).

    Are there any ways wordpress.com can help out here, like closing that subdomain after proof of the rights of the copyright owner? Or help contacting that individuum and ‘convincing’ him to delete the copyrighted content (video)?

    The webmaster finally reacted and removed the page. So this is solved.
    In general I_m still interested in what the “general suggestions” are on how to proceed in such cases.

    BTW: I’m using wordpress.org for my self hosted “main” pages.
    The hnuecke.wordpress.com site was created “just in case I’d need one” and for tests ;-)

    Do note we are pretty tough against copyright claims used for censorship purposes. Also, the copyright owner must file their own claim. I hope that helps.
