How to transfer my domain to other hosting companies like GDI or GoDaddy?

  Hi admin,

  I need to transfer my paid domain “www.amegateamsuccess.com” to GDI or GoDaddy, what will I do?

  I need to add plugins to my site.

  You can transfer your domain to a different registrar by following this guide:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/#transfer-to-another-registrar

  Alternatively, you could keep your domain registered here at WordPress.com, and simply update your name servers to the values that your new host provides.

  What if I had another domain name example “mysite.com” and I would like to redirect or forward my users to that site when they try to access my wordpress domain which is “amegateamsuccess.com”?

  Anyone?

  “mysite.com” is being hosted by GDI. I simply need to redirect my WordPress paid domain ( “amegateamsuccess.com”) to “mysite.com”

  You can do that by changing your nameservers: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/#update-nameservers

  You’ll need to retrieve the correct nameservers from your hosting provider.
