How to transfer old followers from wordpress.com to self hosted.org blog?

I have installed Jet Pack and I wanted to know how you transfer my old followers and email subscribers from my old wordrpress.com account: Vodka Infused Lemonade.wordpress.com to my new domain at wordpress.org: vodka Infused Lemonade. I was told that I just have to contact you guys and you will transfer my old followers to my new website as long as I have Jet Pack installed and I do. Please help me!!! I sent an email a few days ago but I haven’t heard anything back. Thank you so much.

I don’t see any Jetpack blogs connected to your account.
If you have Jetpack installed already, you’ll need to activate it and connect it to your WordPress.com account first, then we can transfer your followers.

Did you activate and connect the Jetpack plugin? If so, which WordPress.com username did you connect it to?

My user name is vodkainfusedlemonade. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong. I installed jet pack plug in to my wordpress.org account and just today I added a plug in for followers. Is that correct? If not can you please give me instructions on how to install the jetpack plug in? I installed it to my wordpress.org account. Thanks so much.

Ok, first, what is the URL of your WordPress.org blog?
Second, do you see a Jetpack section in the Dashboard of the blog? It will be in the left sidebar near the top. If so, do you see a blue Connect with WordPress.com button there? If yes, then click that.
If you don’t have a Jetpack section in your blog’s Dashboard, head to the Plugins section and click the Activate link under Jetpack.

My URL is vodkainfusedlemonade.com
I have a jetpack section on my dashboard and on the right hand side, in the jetpack section, beside a green dot, it says that it’s connected to wordpress.com.

Ok, it was connected to the vodkaf WordPress.com account, not your vodkainfusedlemonade account, but that’s fine we can still transfer the followers.

Oh thank you so much. the fact that it’s connected to vodkaf wordpress.com account is that going to affect things? Can I just get connected to my vodkainfusedlemonade account?

It really won’t affect anything, it just made it difficult to transfer the followers, but it’s all done now.
If you want to reconnect it, you can from the Jetpack section of the Dashboard. If you hover over “Connected to WordPress.com,” it’ll switch to a disconnect option.
