How to troubleshoot: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site
-
On a new installation, I am unable to connect Jetpack with the cloud server. Standard error message:
“The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site [HTTP 404]. Ask your web host if they allow connections from WordPress.com. If you need further assistance, contact Jetpack Support: http://jetpack.me/support/”I have seamlessly set up another blog with the same provider (OVH). May I request your help to start troubleshooting the issue?
Thanks

Hey there,
It looks like your WordPress.org site isn’t quite setup correctly. Specifically, the “xmlrpc.php” file included in the package is missing:

Best,
