How to upload a WordPress.org website/theme on a WordPress.com mapped domain

  Hi dear WordPressers,

  Please help me out. I mapped a domain eXtremotion.com on WordPress.com AND i bought a template/theme on themeforest.net. It seems i can’t use that template for WordPress.com (my bad). Then how do i install WordPress(.org) on my mac desktop to edit and afterwards upload that theme/template/website on a domain i already mapped on wordpress.com. Is this possible? If not i’m in trouble:( and hope you guys could help me solve this.

  Yes you are in trouble so to speak.

  No matter what you do – you can’t put your own theme on WordPress.COM – period end – it is a security and reliability issue. The domain name or Domain Mapping don’t change the part that as long as you are hosted on WordPress.COM you can’t upload your own Theme.

  If you still want to put the Theme you bought on your desktop then you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the software you will be using.
