ht.access file error

    I tried to prevent hotlinking my site in an effort to speed up my loading efficiency. In changing my ht.access file it said an error had occurred. It now won’t let me do anything because it keeps saying there are errors occurring. I downloaded the original ht.access file before I changed it but it won’t let me replace it with that as it keeps saying error. Would really love some help as I’m getting quite distressed about it.

    I do not see any sites under your @goldenagewomenblog WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.

    Is it possible you created your site under a different login with us or are using another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc. instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?

    Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.
