  Hi,

  I’m not sure what you’re asking. Two responses, based on alternative guesses:

  1. If you type or paste HTML code into a post or page editor in test or HTML mode, then it will be converted into visual format (for want of a better phrase) by switching to visual mode or by publishing the post/page, as long as the HTML used is compatible with WordPress.com. The Code support page lists the types of HTML code allowed, and some types that aren’t.

  2. If you type or paste HTML code into a post or page editor in visual mode (aka “the visual editor”), then it will remain in HTML code when published. The code will be published as written as long as the code is acceptable, though in a test I found that URLs displayed as links. See the Code support page for a list of the types of HTML code allowed, and some types that aren’t.

  Change “test or HTML mode” to “text or HTML mode.”
