Http 500 error

  Installed a plug in and got this error message. Can’t get into the admin side of the site. Website seems fine but can’t get at anything!

  We provide support only for sites hosted by WordPress.COM. Our support docs do not refer to any other sites site and we do not provide support for WordPress.ORG software installs.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

  Hi klearevents,

  klear-events.co.uk is a self hosted WordPress.org site, rather than a WordPress.com site. There is some information about the differences between the two in this guide:

  WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

  We are only able to help with WordPress.com sites on these forums. A 500 error suggests an issue with the server and your site appears to be hosted by Fasthosts so I recommend contacting them for help — they should be able to give you more information.

  I have visited klear-events.co.uk today and the site is loading as expected, so it looks like the issue was temporary.
