I am contacting support b/c the website http://www.gracechurchschool.org is set (Settings > General) to https://gracechurchschool.org. We are collecting donations and when our patrons click the link in an email http://www.gracechurchschool.org/give-online they are seeing an ‘unsecure warning’ b/c the link is defaulting to http:// (not https://). Kindly let me know how we can remove the unsevure message. When I went onto the help site I was directed to contact WordPress to fix this issue:
How do I get those annoying security warnings to go away?
In general, you should never see security warnings while using WordPress.com. If you do, please contact support and let us know the details.Nik [redacted personal info]

I checked the permalink settings as well… SSL is on, etc… and checked other support docs that mention plug-ins, etc… all the settings seem to be fine.
Has anyone else had this issue?

SOLUTION!
With the help of Adam from WordPress & Jim from Gravity Forms this issue is solved.
The solution today was the SIMPLE SSL plug-in. It worked like a charm. The http or www defaulted to the httpS after installing the plug-in.
I appreciate your time and your assistance. I hope this thread helps anyone who is having a similar issue. My solution was found by sending an email to help at WordPress dot com. Adam’s response then sent me on to submit a form at Gravity Form’s website.

@baileyq1 thank you for sharing what you’ve learned! This is typically taken care of automatically on the sites we host, but I can see others finding it useful.
I also removed your personal info from the post so you won’t get spam calls and what not. Cheers!
