https://thehostages.wordpress.com/ coming up in Google Search for apparently no reason

    This site is coming up in searches when nothing on the page contains the search terms. It says, in very small print ‘This is an Extreme Right-Wing Site’ and has an offensive Amnesty International (middle finger) graphic. That organization works to stop torture and fights for human rights. Can WordPress make this site not come up in searches when you aren’t looking for it, or at least make them have the Right-Wing-Nutjob warning more prominent?

    Hi there,

    We don’t block sites from being indexed by search engines just because some people might find them offensive. All sites on WordPress.com have exactly the same search engine discoverability, and only the owner of a site can choose whether or not they wish to hide it from search engines.

    If you feel the site violates our terms of service you can report it as explained at https://en.support.wordpress.com/report-blogs/, and our terms of service team will evaluate the site and suspend it if it is found to be in violation.

    We do not deal with terms of service issues in the public forums, so I’m closing this thread to further replies.
