I accidentally started my site with the free version causing the .wordpress.com

  I have already paid for a .com site and would like to use wordpress to design/run it but i accidentally clicked on the free version, what now?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Just set this blog to Private and ignore it or use it as an offsite backup of your actual site which is hosted elsewhere.

  Thank you, how do I set it to private? And then how would I use the allofusair.com through wordpress, could I do so via the account I already created?

  Yeah, sure you can delete it on the Dashboard Tools page, but deletion is permanent and irreversible, including the URL. That’s why I suggest setting it to Private, which you do on the dashboard Settings->Reading page.

  You can’t use a domain name on a blog that doesn’t exist. If you bought the domain name, even if you bought it from WP.com, you can use it on an external blog just by changing where the nameservers point.

  Thanks, I bought the name on moniker, using bluehost for servers and want to use wordpress to design/use it.

  I know I have to pay for the wordpress to not have the .wordpress.com and more control but not sure how to do that now since I accidentally chose the free version, if that makes sense.

  Hold on. If you are going to use Bluehost, then you are going to install software from WordPress.ORG, buy a theme, install that, add plugins and so on, and be wholly responsible for tech support for your own site. That kind of site, a WP.org site, has absolutely nothing to do with a WP.com site. Nothing at all. You won’t come back here for advice. You will go to WordPress.org’s forums.

  You do not pay WP for anything if you have a WordPress.org blog. Do not buy upgrades here, do not read the instructions here. They do not relate to your Bluehost site in any way.

  Okay, so you’ve got an account here and hosting somewhere else. That doesn’t obligate you to use either. You can blog here or you can blog there or you can do both or you can do neither. Read the link I gave you and read my comments again.
