I already have another account and I wanted this theme added to it… but it looks like a new account was created. How do I fix this?

Switching from one theme to another certainly should not result in the creation of another account. What do you mean by adding a theme to an account? What is the username of the new account created?

I have a wordpress.org account and I want to use the purchased theme there but can’t seem to figure out how to sync them or download a zip file of the theme to upload onto that account.

Hi @thewakenbaker, WordPress.com is a service and WordPress.org is free software you can modify as you’d like.
At WordPress.com you can choose between the themes we offer here:
wordpress.com/themesFor WordPress.org you can buy other themes or even make your own, but you’re responsible for the site’s security, support, and upkeep.
It’s a bit like the difference between a restaurant and a recipe, if that helps.
If you’d like to let us know what theme you had in mind, and what features you liked best, we may be able to help you find something similar here.

@thewakenbaker Is it possible that you wanted to download a theme for your self-hosted WordPress site from one of the WordPress.com Theme Showcase pages? Some themes require you to log in or create a WordPressdotcom account if you don’t have one.
If you want to apply a theme in the Showcase to a WordPressdotcom site, you can do so from the Activate button at the top of the right sidebar of any theme in the Theme Showcase or via your site’s Dashboard>Themes https://wordpress.com/design/

Ah, maybe I didn’t understand. If you bought a theme license here with intent to use it on a WordPress.org installation, you’ll want to get a refund and buy the .org license instead. They are different.
It looks like you’ve already been refunded on this theme, too. Let us know if you needed more help.
