  I already own a good web address, can I use it to access my blog directly, rather than with a hyperlink?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Do you mean map a domain to your WordPress.com site so that you can go to domain.com instead of stocktonmill.wordpress.com?

  Or use a subdomain like blog.domain.com?

  yes, that’s it – so that visitors to my own domain go straight to the Blog.

  Great! You can set this up with a Domain Mapping upgrade. You can set this up here:

  https://wordpress.com/domains

  Select Map an Existing Domain.

  Then, you’ll need to change your domain’s name servers to the following:

  • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  If you let me know who your registrar is currently, I can find some directions for how to do this.
