  I am currently hosted on Verio and looking to transfer my wordpress blog to sonic.net. I am not sure if it’s wordpress.org or wordpress.com, since it is through their site and the address looks like this: http://performancelab.org/wordpress/. From what I hear from Sonic.net I can install WordPress on their system, (not sure whether that is .org or .com, or something different) but I am on my own as far as upkeep. What do you recommend? Downtime would be pretty bad right now since we are moving into our performance season and folks will be starting to need to see our site. Thanks.

  If you are installing WordPress on a webserver, it is a self-hosted WordPress.org site. WordPress.com is the only place that you will find WordPress.com sites.
