I am getting a message that my free wordpress can’t be found
-
I have made my first post, even got an email with a link saying that it was up and running, but when I click on the link from Chrome and try to visit my site I get the message that it cannot be found. Using WordPress used to be so simple and now it’s really complicated. Also every time I visit my page it shows the ‘LEARN’ block on it. I would like to see my blog from a bystander’s view. Can someone help me with all this? The link to my blog that is on the email it this: https://unforcedrhythmsofgrace371849567.wordpress.com I appreciate any ‘how to’s’ that you can send my way. I’ve had a wordpress blog before but it’s changed so much that I don’t know how to navigate the simplest things. thanks

Hi!
It looks like you had your site set up to have a static homepage (instead of blog posts) but had not set what that page should be. I have switched the setting back to being blog posts and you can see your intro post now:

However, you can also see those sample posts. So you’ll probably want to delete those.
If you wish to revert the change and instead set up a static homepage, you can find instructions here:

Take a look and let us know if anything is unclear or you have any further questions.

I’m a little confused. I deleted the blog so it shouldn’t be up any longer. I saw where I could add a new site to my existing blog and decided to add one there The new blog address is: https://wordpress.com/home/theunforcedrhythmofgrace.wordpress.com
Can you check it out and see if it’s up and running and also see what I’m using to compare it to my old blog format which I’m familiar with… see below.
My old wordpress blog address that I added it to is: https://mylongandwindingroad.wordpress.com/ Any way I can use the same format? I tried to find that theme but didn’t see it. Used to you would have the main page that you wrote on and added additional pages that people might want to click on. Is that not how it’s done now? Is my old blog a static page? Thanks!

https://theunforcedrhythmofgrace.wordpress.com/ uses the Exford theme.
https://mylongandwindingroad.wordpress.com/ uses an old theme that is now retired so it would not be a good fit for a new site.
