  I am logged out of my WordPress account. I need to get in.

  Fortunately, the previous developer finally gave me access to the cpanel and I was able to get logged back in. However, I find it frustrating that the password reset never works.

  As you speak of the Cpanel, it means you are talking about a site using the open source wordpress.org. We can only help you with sites on the wordpress.com platform. The wordpress.org support is at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
