  I am trying to cancel my account but it says I cannot with an active subscription. I cannot see where to cancel my subscription. All I can find is that I have been paying for something called askimet every year but I cannot see how to cancel it. I do not, and have not, actually used the WordPress service I setup. Please help me close this.

  Hey there, I don’t see WordPress.com upgrades, but are you using any of Automattic’s other services, like Jetpack Pro or Akismet, or a WooCommerce premium extension? If so, you’ll need your account for that. But you are welcome to close your site, clear out your Gravatar, etc.
