  Sorry hit return to soon. I am trying to remove the site gpdcrossfit.wordpress.com

  I have checked my spam folders and the email confirmation is not there. It is not in my inbox and I have even changed the delivery email address to make sure it wasn’t something with me email.

  Please help with removing the site.

  To delete a free hosted WordPress.COM blog you must be logged in under the exact same username account that registered a blog to delete the blog. To prevent accidental or inadvertent deletion of blogs, there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent and irreversible. Lastly, a verification link is sent in an email and must be clicked to delete a blog. If clicking that link does not work then copy and paste it into your upper browser window and click.

  Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

  Alternatively, to change blog visibility to private go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3 . See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  Thanks for the information, but I am not even getting the email confirmation (and it is not in a spam folder). I am using the same username that I used to create the blog. I am just not able to confirm that I want to delete it.

  If I have to, I can turn the blog private, but I am really wanting to see it removed completely.

  Hi there,

  I just made an adjustment on our end. Can you try deleting your site again, and see if the confirmation email comes through this time? Please let me know if you continue to have trouble with it. :)
