I am trying to upload a theme, but when I go to Admin>Appearance>Themes, there is no Add Theme

  Headline pretty much says it all. I have looked at the tutorials and they all say to upload a theme, go to appearances, themes, add theme, but I have no option to ‘add theme’ and I have no idea why.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Themes purchased or downloaded from elsewhere can’t be uploaded to sites hosted on WordPress.com. On WordPress.com, you can select from a variety of themes to change your blog’s appearance. We offer over 300 themes, both free themes and premium themes created by leading theme companies. You can view all of our themes and filter them by specific criteria in our theme showcase.

  If you let me know what theme you downloaded, I’d be happy to help you find out if it’s available here or if there’s a similar theme you might like.

  You can also post suggestions for new themes we might add in the Themes forum.

  Themes purchased elsewhere can only be uploaded to self-hosted blogs running on WordPress.org software. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org if you’re curious about that.
