I am unable to add my domain

  Hi, I have purchased a domain name b-t-d.co.uk via one.com.
  I am trying to add this domain name to wordpress and the website is asking me to pay for it again.

  I have already paid for it. I just want to add it and build it through wordpress.

  Hi there, in order to use a custom domain on your free WPcom site, you’d need to upgrade your site to at least the Personal plan.

  In case you are interested in transferring your domain to WPcom, there is a waiting period after registering a new domain when the domain must remain with the original registrar. Normally it is 60 days.
