I am unable to follow blogs or websites.

    Hello, this morning I decided to search some of my favorite topics and artists that I appreciate the most and followed a few different websites and blogs. This is the first time that I’ve really used the search engine looking for specific sites/blogs since I made my website about 6 months ago. I understand that if I follow too many sites/blogs within a short period of time that I might be marked as a spammer. I did not realize this until I had already followed so many and started to get the error message saying “Unable to Follow.”

    I understand completely that I shouldn’t rush into following a bunch of sites, but I was only following specific topics or artists that I as looking for and my main concern is that I am not labeled as a spammer by my site or my blog.

    I am wondering if there is a time limit that my account will be automatically unmarked as a spammer? Or if I’m having to contact somebody to maybe help me further.

    Now that I know the rule of short time period following of sites/blogs, I definitely will not go in any more following sprees like I did this morning.

    Hi there,

    I do not see that your account has been blocked for “follower spam” and it appears that in the time since you have posted this question you have followed more sites… as recently as an hour ago!

    Were you able to sort this out on your own, or did you need a hand still?
