I am unable to retrieve the website I created.

    It has been a couple of months (>6) since it’s domain name expired. Does the website vanishes after the domain name expires. Is there any other way the website can be retrieved?

    If your site was hosted by a third party hosting – e.g. Bluehost, Godaddy, … – the content of your site has been removed. If you didn’t make a backup, you’ll have to start all over again.

    If your site was a paid plan on our wordpress.com platform, once your plan expires it falls back to the free site.
    However: “Seven days after a plugin-enabled plan expires, the site is reverted, removing the plugin and third-party theme functionality. We retain backups of your site for 30 days from the plan’s expiration date.”
    So as we are way over those 30 days, wordpress.com doesn’t have a backup anymore.
