I bought an account today and now cannot get into it. I paid for 3 years and 10 years of the domain, but I cannot access the associated email to complete the authorization, and now I cannot get in. The site leads me in circles.
I cannot seem to get in touch with a person, and the AI chat is stupid.
How can I get in touch with a real person? -
Hello!
I understand how frustrating this situation must be, especially after completing a long-term purchase and then getting stuck at the login or authorization step.
We can absolutely help you regain access, but first we’ll need to verify ownership of the account for security reasons.
The best next step is to email us at passwordhelp@wordpress.com. To help us assist you faster, please include as much of the following information as possible:
- The WordPress.com account email you signed up with (or believe is linked to the purchase).
- Any alternative email addresses that may have been used during signup, checkout, or setup.
- The transaction ID or proof of payment from your bank or card statement (you can find guidance here: https://wordpress.com/support/billing-history/#on-your-credit-card-statement).
- The domain name(s) connected to the account or included in your purchase.
- A screenshot showing the login loop, error message, or where the process is getting stuck.
Once ownership is verified through these details, we’ll be able to guide you through restoring access and resolving the issue.
We look forward to assisting you further once we hear from you with the requested details.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you., @nicholasfsmith137ad87fe38 For privacy reasons, we’re unable to handle account recovery cases through the forum, but we’ll make sure to get back to you via email as soon as we can.

If you purchased an account and can no longer access it, the first step is to contact the seller and verify that the login credentials haven’t been changed. However, keep in mind that buying and selling accounts often violates the terms of service of many platforms, and the original owner may be able to recover the account.
Try:
- Resetting the password using the account’s registered email (if you have access).
- Checking for typos in the username, email, or password.
- Contacting the platform’s support team to explain the situation and verify what recovery options are available.
- Reviewing the platform’s policies regarding transferred or purchased accounts.
If you share which service or platform the account belongs to, I can provide more specific guidance.
