I can not figure out how to be an author of a blog that I was invited to.

  I was told that I was invited by my school to be an author of a blog for a grade. I have the invitation in an e-mail however it does not link correctly. What can I do about this? I am a Texas Tech student and the blog is Nonverbal comm. Thank you
