I cancelled my site, now my domain is in limbo

I was charged $299 2x for my domain, so I contacted chat to get refunds. Somehow my domain got registered with two forms of my site name so I was refunded. Only problem is that meant I was actually cancelling both domains completely with WordPress.com. That’s not what I wanted to do. I just wanted to cancel the websites, but I still want my domain name!!!!! How do I get my domain back when it was set to expire Feb. 2nd and was cancelled Jan 30th?

Hi there,
You came into live chat with us yesterday, and asked to cancel your domains. The person to whom you chatted expressly asked you to confirm that you wanted to cancel the domains and warned you that you might not be able to get them back if you proceed.
If you still want the domain I can try getting it back from our registrar for you. I’ve emailed them to try and revert the cancellation. I’ll let you know once I hear back from them.

Okay, the domain has been restored to your account. It expires tomorrow, but should still have a week time to either renew it or transfer it somewhere else if you don’t want to use it here. After that, there will be a late fee to renew, so please make sure you renew it via the Purchases page as soon as possible.
