I cannot access my admin page after changing my password and enabling 2-step log-in.

Then you still have your backup codes you can use to log in, https://wordpress.com/support/security/two-step-authentication/#backup-codes
-
Thanks, but that does not help. I still get the “You don’t have any WordPress sites yet” window, with the suggestion to create a site. The problem arose when I was advised to change my WordPress password. Changing the password was difficult and eventually required changing my user name as well. I suspect that my problem is that the user name and password need to be changed on WordPress, but I cannot get into my dashboard.

Hello, have you tried using the account recovery option to reset the password. use your original email address associated with the account you want access to.
https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#password-reset-processIf this does not work you can come back here with feedback and we will tag the staff to assist you further.
-
What is the URL of your site because it looks as if your site is connected to another account.
-
I have tried all these suggestions and I still get no further than described above. My url is:
adam-donaldson-powell.blog/ -
Thanks. I have reset the passord but I keep getting directed to the change your password page again and again, instead of allowing me to log in to my dashboard.
-
When I attempt to log in I am told that You are logged in as … and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard.
-
I can, however, access my Reader and the profile page, but not my WP-dashboard. I am told that I do not have a WordPress site, and should make a new one. I have four WordPress sites connected to my log-in.
-
As expected, that site is connected to anither account of yours, osoparavos.
Completely log out from current adamdonaldsonpowell and log in again as osoparavos. -
I have also tried this about 20 times. Sorry, I am very frustrated now. I am unable to sign in as osoparavos, only as adamdonaldsonpowell. When I finally get through the 2-step ID stuff I always end up in a Reader, with the message that I do not have any current WordPress accounts. I have changed the password several times, changed from osoparavos in my WP-profile and on my computer. How do I get past the Reader?
-
I have marked the thread so that the staff or moderators can assist you with the right information. in the meantime maybe try clearing your browser data, cache, and history I find that usually resolves my login problems.
-
Thank you! I emptied the cache and cookies history on all of my devices several hours ago, in fact. I had to change my password once previously, but I figured out a way around the problems. This time I am utterly confused because I cannot find the interfering log-in account without accessing the dashboard. It was WordPress that advised me that I should change my log in due to possible breaches. I hope that the staff can help me out of this mess.
-
You won’t be able to access the site as adamdonaldsonpowell, it simply does not have access to the site.
You will need to log in as osoparavos.
If you still cannot, please send an email to
passwordhelp (at) wordpress (dot) comexplaining the situation, and we’ll see if there’s anything we can do for you. -
