I cannot add extra line spacing

  I am trying to post a poem and want to have an extra blank line to separate stanzas. I have tried the obvious (hit “enter” while in visual mode) and the less obvious, such as entering HTML to create a new paragraph or such. I will manage to get it looking the way I want it on preview but, when I post it, the HTML disappears and the extra line goes away. This is most frustrating. I wouldn’t have this problem with an old typewriter! What do I do?

  Hi there!

  Sorry this is so frustrating for you! Adding line breaks is easiest in the Text editor, rather than the Visual editor. Are you experiencing the same issues when you add the line break there?
