I cannot add new pages to the blog

  I cannot add new pages to the blog. I thought they should be published then added to the menu. They do not show up in the menu.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Do you mean in the navigational menu down the left hand side?

  yes, thank you.
  the pages do not show up so they can be moved to the menu.
  I can add them at the end of the menu and move them up the menu, but I cannot drag them from the left hand side and place them in the menu. this project is for a class assignment.

  You are talking about doing this in the Appearance–> Menus area of your dashboard, correct?

  Okay, so that page is not set up to be a click/drag from left to right. Menu items are, as you noted, dragable up and down in the right hand column to organize the order of the items. But you need to add the menu item on the right and then drag it up from the bottom to where ever you want it to sit.
