I cannot connect my WordPress Blog to my IFTTT account!

  I am having issues with connecting the wordpress channel of IFTTT to my wordpress blog. I have had it connected before but now it is not working. I have the wordpress blog hosted thru godaddy.com. I have changed my password on wordpress.com for the account and attempted again to connect the blog, but it says

  Live channel fields value is not a valid WordPress url
  Unable to verify WordPress credentials. Please try again.

  I am using the correct login name and password. The blog URL that I am using is http://www.gregcarlisle.com and I also tried gregcarlisle.com. Any help would be greatly appreciated! This has been going on for months and last time I tried to get help, they advised me to try a new IFTTT account but that did not work..

  Hi there,

  Since your site gregcarlisle.com is a self-hosted site (hosted at GoDaddy and not here at WordPress.com), your WordPress.com account credentials won’t give a service like IFTTT access to that site. You’ll need to set it up using the credentials you use to log in to your dashboard at gregcarlisle.com. Those are separate from your WordPress.com account credentials.
