I cannot edit my site

As far as I am aware, I only have one account with WordPress – it is the one I am currently logged into with the email (email visible only to moderators and staff). In that account should be two sites: https://joshmerrymedia.wordpress.com and https://joshmerryportfolio.wordpress.com. When I log into my account I can only see joshmerrymedia, however this is an old site that I no longer use. Joshmerryportfolio is my more up-to-date site that I need access to to update my portfolio and submit work for university. This help section is telling me that both of the above sites are linked to a different account that the one I am currently logged in to, even though I am able to edit johsmerrymedia when logged into this account and have only ever made one account with WordPress. I have tried resetting my password which does nothing to allow me to edit joshmerryportfolio and I have tried the Account Recovery procedure but that also does not work as I am technically able to access my account just not my website, plus it tells me that my account activation link is invalid despite it being the only one I was ever sent.

joshmerryportfolio.wordpress.com is indeed under a different account than the one you are reaching out to us from – so you do have two accounts. Do you know if you have another email that you can use to log in (as each WordPress.com account requires a unique email, so the outlook email isn’t the one connected to that second account)?
