I cannot log into my dashboard

    I’ve tried logging in today and I can’t seem to. I haven’t changed my password. When I click on ‘forgot password’ the message says it will email me a link to change it and that link never comes through. I’ve tried it twice, waiting more than 10 minutes for the email each time. When I log in to WordPress.com and try, I can get in, but I can’t make changes to my site. How do I fix this?

    We can’t help directly because we don’t host your site on our WordPress.com managed hosting. As a result we don’t have the ability to take a closer look at your site.

    Instead your host (Siteground) uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com. The good news is that as long as you have access to the server control panel through Siteground, it is always possible to regain access to your self-hosted WordPress site.
