I cannot login

  Help please….I am not able to login. I type in the e-mail address and password and it keeps telling me that the e-mail address is invalid. This is despite the fact that I have a welcome e-mail from wordpress at that address. I have enabled cookies and cleared cache in google chrome.

  I apologize. I am a rookie at this…so I am sure it is me. I purchased the domain name at google domains, and clicked on the wordpress link and it went through an install process. So I thought I would be able to log into the site at wordpress. Is this right? If not, how do I access the site? Through google domains?
