I cannot take down my former website
-
Hello! I used to be the owner of the domain https://www.secretsofportlandia.com
However, I forgot to renew the name another person has bought the URL.
The problem is that the URL is still pointing to my former website, which is hosted on WordPress.
I cannot seem to access my website through this dashboard, (WP username secretsofportlandia)
This is strange, because I created my website through this dashboard and this login.
Now I can only make changes to this URL: https://secretsofportlandia.wordpress.com
However, I need to take down the website that my former URL (https://www.secretsofportlandia.com) is pointing to.
How can I disable the website that the URL https://www.secretsofportlandia.com is pointing to? I no longer offer the walking tour company that the website is advertising, so I need to take down the site so that people don’t show up looking for the services mentioned on that site.
Site: https://secretsofportlandia.wordpress.com.
WP.com: Yes
Correct account: Yes -
The site was indeed attached to https://secretsofportlandia.wordpress.com/ when it was hosted here.
That site hasn’t been updated in a while though. Were you previously using the WordPress software, but hosted elsewhere?
