I cannot use a feature on a new theme.

In the new theme, Oxygen, I cannot use the “featured slider” feature on my home page because it won’t allow me to use certain pictures in the featured picture setting. I’ve only been able to use a few pictures that I’ve taken myself. Any pictures I got from the internet won’t work.
Is there a special setting to get this to work? Do I need to use a certain type of photo? Is this an error?

Yes, the featured images for the slider’s sticky posts need to be at least 750 pixels wide.

It’s still not allowing me to use certain pictures. I just tried several and at one point, they pop up on the featured slider, but as soon as I update the post, it disappears and then I can’t use any pictures again.
Is there any other solution?

Do you currently have them set as Featured Images? If so, can you please give me a link to one of the problem posts?

It’s currently happening with all but 2 posts, which are the exact same except for featured image. Both of those images are from the same batch I mentioned earlier though.

The featured image you set is only 412 pixels wide.
It needs to be at least 750 pixels wide.

No, we don’t have a way to enlarge the image here. You would either need to expand it in an image editor, or get a much larger original (this is the best way).
