I cant access my site

    I cannot log in to my site joannasdaniel.com. I am not sure why. I have even changed the password, and still, it wouldn’t let me log in. I had to ask for a personal email to log in. Please help me understand what is happening.

    Hi –

    That domain looks to be hosted at GoDaddy. It also needs an SSL certificate to convert the http to https and make it secure. At the moment, I believe GoDaddy has an iframe or masking established — that makes the site look like WordPress.com but it’s not.

    In order to get things configured correctly you’ll need to reach out to GoDaddy and ask them to change the name servers on the domain to WordPress.com. Follow the details instructions here:

    After you contact their support team go ahead and add the personal plan to your WordPress.com account. You’ll need that to properly map the domain. Then, click on My Sites -Domains -Add New – Map it and from there you can connect joannasdaniel.com officially. This will help your SEO too, as WordPress.com has built in SEO tools.
