  Hi there,

  I’m sorry you’re having trouble buying a domain. The transaction to purchase the domain has been declined by the bank that issued your credit card. This can happen for a variety of reasons, although we’re not able to see why. Some of the reasons are:

  • closed credit card account
  • account is over the limit
  • account is past due
  • automated fraud alert

  The last reason above, an automated fraud prevention block, is the most common. Usually you just need to call your bank and let them know you want to make a purchase on WordPress.com, and they can get the block removed right away.

  Can you please get in touch with the bank and then try your payment again?
