I can’t change my username from my old account

    Hi umm, I have an account that has my username. And I deleted that account and created a new one but when I change my username to the username of my old account, it says it’s already exist, but I already deleted it, when I able to change it?

    I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

    Hi there,

    Usernames from deleted accounts are blocked and cannot be reused. This is done to prevent impersonation.

    It’s possible to reuse that username if you restore your previous account. To do so, reply to the account closure we have sent you, and our support team will help you restore it.
