I can’t change my .wordpress.com address

    it says on the domain setting page, ‘only the site owner @username can edit the domain this name’. the username written there was my old username (that i think i’ve deleted) but I’m still the owner of the site. Same account and registered email but now using different username. How can I solve this?

    Hi there,

    What is the site you’re trying to change? http://eyesandclouds.wordpress.com/ is showing as deleted.

    If there are multiple users on a site only the user who created the site can change the address. It’s not possible to delete a user without also deleting all sites they own, so if our system is saying another username owns the site, then that username still exists.
